Denny has experienced all of the corrective institutions. She has been emotionally deprived all her life and was sexually abused by her 'carers'. To compensate, she has formed fiercely loyal, fixated relationships, often with women whom she perceives have power - thus her early obsession with Shell dockley
Denny is a good fighter, being fearless to the point of stupidity. Despite her size, she is strong and works out to maintain her physical advantage. However, she's not very bright - she didn't learn to read until she came to Larkhall - and because of this, she is often easily manipulated and set up to attack other people's enemies.
During the third season, herself, Shell and Shaz escape Larkhall in the production companies van. Unfortunately, Shaz sprains her ankle while jumping out the van causing Denny and Shell to escape alone.
During their escape, they pay a visit to Sylvia Hollamby's house (Bodybag) where they make her and her husband Bobby do ridiculous things such as making Bodybag dress up as a maid, etc. They eventually leave after forcing Bobby to rest in a coffin where Shell sets it alight.
Afterwards, they spend the night at Crystal Gordon's where (without Denny knowing) Shell places drugs under the pillow and phone the police. They then leave and make their escape to Spain where Crystal is arrested.
Denny is recaptured in season 4 and reunites with Shaz briefly before her death towards the end of that season.
Denny lost her mum during series 4
Denny had a relationship with Shaz wylie, in the finale of series 4 Shaz and Denny were high on magic mushrooms. Snowball merriman and her boyfriend set off an explosive bomb in order to escape, Shaz was too high and sadly Shaz died leaving Denny.
On the plus side, Denny is a good friend to those she cares about... but she can also be a deadly enemy.
